Value Yourself First
Every human on the planet has experienced some trauma. Some of us were raised in less than ideal situations and circumstances. While we may understand that our parents did the best they could with the tools and training they had, sometimes there are residual issues.
Whether we express it as trauma or not, we all have wounds that need healing. We all have areas where we could improve and grow. Sometimes there are blocks that are getting in the way of us experiencing our best life. As caregivers, we often tend to tend to others before ourselves. We may be people pleasers. We risk burn out when we fail to care for ourselves.
